MOTHER’S SHIP by CUTTY SHELLS / Katharina Simons is a performance exploring the idea of “mothering” beyond conventional narratives of motherhood and parenthood. Drawing on the preceding works MOTHER’S TALE, MOTHER’S SCREAM and MOTHER’S MILK, the piece brings together voice, movement, ritual and sound to examine care, intimacy, identity and alternative forms of connection.
