Exit through the inside

Exit Through the Inside by CUTTY SHELLS / Katharina Simons is a transmedia dance performance exploring the relationship between the body, technology and spirituality. Inspired by ideas of techno-shamanism, the piece combines choreography, video art, virtual world-building and immersive staging to create a space between physical and digital experience. The production was presented at Tafelhalle Nürnberg and developed in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team including visual artist Fanny Hagmeier and the Ruhrgebieterinnen collective.

I composed the original music for the production, creating an electronic score developed in close relation to the movement and overall atmosphere of the piece.
